The hotel rooms had an unpleasant smell like the previous guest smoked, which made the stay not so enjoyable. The location was somewhat convenient, but safety concerns were raised for solo female travelers. The service was friendly and helpful, and the dining experience left much to be desired.
The hotel is not ideally located as it is a bit far from the center of KK and can get congested due to the two side roads surrounding it, though it sits in a location with a river running by. The rooms are clean with the minimum required facilities, and my room 311 & 313 were clean, fresh, and not small. The service was accommodating, with the staff helping me print out my boarding pass for free and providing a shuttle service to save the hassle of parking in the city center. The dining experience, although charged to the room, was very basic and not to my taste, but overall, this hotel is good value for money.
The hotel has ok, decent-sized rooms, but they were not made up even after putting the 'please make up room' sign on the door knob in the morning. The rooms appeared old and untidy after they were cleaned. The service was a mix of unhelpful attitudes and helpful gestures, especially with calling a cab. The location was not convenient, especially for solo female travelers, as it felt dodgy and unsafe. The dining options were more suitable for Asian tastes rather than a varied menu. The facilities were lacking in some areas.
